Ein af mínum fyrstu bernskuminningum er af foreldrum mínum syngjandi þetta lag í einhverjum félagsskap í stofunni á Skálá. Svo fann ég það í sönglagabók einn daginn og fann fyrir djúpri hvöt og þörf til að flytja þetta lag og syngja inn á plötu.

Twilight falls
One of my earliest childhood memories is of my parents singing this song in good company in the living room of our farm. I later found the song in a songbook and fellt this deep longing and need to perform it and record it for the memory of their beautiful lives.
